APPOINTMENT GUIDELINES & INFORMATION ON COVID-19 TO PROTECT PATIENT WELL-BEING.

We are temporarily closed.

If you are experiencing a medical emergency, contact your health provider.

Due to the current COVID-19 Pandemic and lack of available staff , we are closing our clinic until further notice.

We are postponing ALL elective dental procedures ( ie when you don’t have pain and therefor do not need immediate treatment ) until further notice.

You can use the “Find a Dental Clinic” which is recommended by Illinois State Dental Society to find the closest dental clinic. Please make sure to call these offices before going there since most dental clinics are having same staffing issues as us. At this point, we do not have any recommended website for our Wisconsin patient.

Every day, at Mynt Dental, our care team puts patient and employee well-being first, providing clean, safe treatment environments for all. We know COVID-19, commonly known as coronavirus, is a concern for everyone. Our commitment is to say ‘Yes’ to patient care. We want to deliver the same quality care in these unique circumstances while helping prevent the spread of COVID-19.

For our patients’ protection, Mynt Dental teams are unable to treat patients who arrive and present with a fever, cough or other flu-like symptoms, even in an emergency situation. These patients should contact their health care provider.

We want to reassure patients, Mynt Dental offices are following the American Dental Association (ADA) and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention

  • Cleaning our environment with products from the EPA’s list of registered surface disinfectant products for use against coronavirus

  • Wiping doors, hands and other common area touchpoints for added cleanliness every two hours

  • Ensure office teams have the Personal Protective Equipment recommended by the CDC

  • Practicing and encouraging social distancing:

    • Telling patients to arrive on time and not early for appointments

    • Eliminating sign-in sheets. Patients check-in at the desk and can wait in their car, receiving a text when it’s time for their appointment

    • Limiting chairs and seating in waiting rooms

    • When necessary, patients’ family and support networks can assist with appointment arrivals. After check-in, individual not receiving treatment should wait outside the office

    • Removing unnecessary objects or items like magazines and books from waiting rooms and treatment areas.

Everyone can take simple hygiene practices to help keep our communities healthy:

  • Wash hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds. Use alcohol-based hand sanitizer (at least 60% alcohol content) if soap and water are not available. Patients are encouraged to use a hand sanitizer during office visits.

  • Avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth with unwashed hands.

  • Cover your mouth and nose with a tissue or your sleeve (not your hands) when coughing or sneezing.

  • While sharing is caring, keep drinks, food, cigarettes, or vaping products to yourself.

  • If you have a fever, cough and/or difficulty breathing, contact your primary physician first and seek medical attention if needed.

We value your trust and will continue to monitor the situation, adapting precautionary measures where needed. For the latest information on COVID-19, please CLICK HERE to visit the CDC website.
